1. Information We Collect
We only collect information necessary to provide you with verified community directory, matrimony matching, temple finder, and social welfare services:
A. Information You Provide Voluntarily
- Account Profile: Name, phone number, email address, profile picture (via Google Sign-In or Mobile OTP).
- Matrimonial Data: Date of birth, educational background, occupation, horoscope / Raasi / Nakshatra, sub-caste, native place, family particulars, and optional photos.
- Business & Merchant Listings: Shop/Business name, address, GSTIN (optional), phone numbers, catalogue photos, and promotional offers.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Posts, event announcements, comments, and community reels submitted through the creator studio.
B. Automatically Collected Technical Data
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, and network connection type.
- Approximate / Precise Location: Used solely when you search for nearby businesses, emergency services, or navigate to ancestral Kuladeivam temples via Google Maps. Location is NEVER tracked continuously in the background without user consent.
- Crash Logs & Diagnostics: Anonymous telemetry to diagnose bugs and improve app stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data for legitimate, specific community purposes:
- To enable community members to discover and contact verified local businesses and services.
- To verify matrimonial member profiles and ensure a safe, spam-free matrimonial environment.
- To send important announcements, emergency blood donor alerts, and festival notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- To detect, prevent, and moderate abusive content, spam, fraudulent listings, or unauthorized impersonation.
3. Third-Party Services & SDKs
We integrate reliable, industry-standard third-party providers that adhere to rigorous data security standards:
- Google Play Services & Firebase (Google LLC): Used for secure user authentication (Google Sign-In), crash reporting, and push notifications.
- Google Maps Platform: Used for rendering town maps, merchant pin locations, and directions to temples.
- Supabase: Encrypted cloud database infrastructure with Row-Level Security (RLS) ensuring strict role-based access.
- Fast2SMS: SMS gateway used strictly for sending one-time verification passwords (OTP) to your registered mobile number.
We never sell, lease, or monetize your personal data to third-party data brokers or advertisement networks.
4. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your personal data only as long as your account remains active or as required to fulfill statutory requirements.
Right to Erasure (கணக்கு மற்றும் தரவு நீக்கம்):
In full accordance with Google Play's Account Deletion Policy, you can request full deletion of your account, phone number, matrimonial profiles, merchant listings, and uploaded photos at any time through our Self-Service Deletion Portal or directly within the mobile app settings. All user data is purged from active databases within 30 days.
5. Data Security
We employ end-to-end Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS) for all data in transit. At rest, sensitive fields are stored with AES-256 grade encryption. Access to database tables is strictly partitioned via cryptographic JWT tokens and Supabase Row Level Security.
6. Children’s Privacy
Agamudayar Super App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 13 years of age. Matrimonial services are strictly restricted to individuals aged 18 and older.
